Steam releases with an AI Generated Content Disclosure.

Steam asks developers to describe how their game uses AI generated content, and itch.io asks them to tick what AI made. GenPlay reads that disclosure for every new game and maps it to six parts: code, art, sound, music, voice and writing.
A lit segment means the developer says AI was used for that part. A dimmed meter means AI only helped with stand-in art or proofreading. Every game page quotes the developer's own words, so you can judge for yourself.

On GenPlay it is a game where the developer says AI was used to make part of it: the code, the art, the sound, the music, the voices or the writing. Games where AI was used for four or more of those parts, or that were vibe-coded, are listed under Mostly made by AI (332 right now).
Every morning the scout reads new games on itch.io under the tags ai-generated and vibe-coding, the newest Steam releases with an AI Generated Content Disclosure, and Show HN posts about games built with AI. 861 games are on the list now.
Roughly one in three new Steam games carried an AI disclosure by mid-2026, about 530 a month, up from about 13 a month before Valve's disclosure rule, according to a census of 53,597 Steam releases by Sulka Haro published on 13 July 2026.
611 of the 861 games are free, and 87 run in a browser tab. Most Steam games cost money; the price is on every game page.
