When do these games come out?

Each date is the one the developer has set on Steam, and developers often move them. Games without a set date show the text Steam shows, such as a quarter or Coming soon. GenPlay checks every upcoming game again every three days.

How do you know an unreleased game uses AI?

Steam asks developers to fill in the AI Generated Content Disclosure before a store page goes live, so the disclosure is visible while the game is still on the wishlist. The page quotes it for each game (Notebookcheck, 17 January 2026).
